INFORMATION FOR APPLICANTS
The Consular Section is
open Monday to Friday from 9.30 a.m-1.00 p.m except during public holidays of
Uganda and public Holidays of South Africa.
Please note that the requirements detailed below are mandatory and the Uganda High Commission in Pretoria shall need your full co-operation because uncompleted application forms will not be accepted. Dully filled in forms for Emergency Travel Certificate may be processed within 3 days. An Emergency Travel Certificate is valid for seven (7) days from date of issue.NB: Any fees deposited is not refundable.
Requirements for Emergency Travel Certificate (Go home document):
1. Completed Application form for Emergency Travel Certificate.
2. Completed Consular Registration Form
3. Three (3) colored passport size photographs, on white background.
4. Fee: R800 payable.
Note:
i) An Emergency Travel Certificate is a one-way travel document to Uganda and it can only be issued after exhaustive inquiries have been made. Passports reported lost will be declared null and void.
ii) Application for an Emergency Travel Certificate for Minors (under 18) must be accompanied by:-
