In their discussion the High Commissioner thanked the Minister for taking off time to meet with her and her delegation.
She briefed the Honourable Minister about the recently concluded elections in Uganda and thanked the Kingdom for the warm congratulatory message they sent to H.E President Yoweri Tibuhaburwa Kaguta Museveni for having won the election.
The High Commissioner requested for consideration of particular MoUs around the areas of Trade and education which can be covered and a Joint Permanent Commission between the two countries. She was of the view that Uganda could export coffee to the Kingdom of Eswatini.
The Honourable Minister welcomed the ideas most especially the JPC between the two countries. She pointed out that regarding coffee, the Eswatini Investment Promotion Authority (EIPA)will be brought on board on this matter.
The Minister further noted that there are many Maswati students in Uganda therefore an MoU in this area would equally be important.
The High Commissioner, once again, expressed her appreciation to the Minister for her time.
